Troubleshooting common issues
Resolve common issues: missing documents, answers without sources, pending synchronizations, or incorrect access.
Most early issues involve unsynchronized documents, outdated content, or questions that are too broad.
Quick checklist
- Check that the document exists in the knowledge base.
- Review whether synchronization finished.
- Ask the question with more context.
- Check permissions if another user cannot see an answer.
- Record knowledge gaps when documentation is missing.
I cannot see a document
Verify that the file was uploaded or is inside the synchronized folder. If it comes from Google Drive, wait for synchronization to finish and check that the format is supported.
The answer has no sources
Try making the question more specific with the team, process, or expected document. If it still has no sources, documentation may be missing or contradictory.
The answer seems wrong
Review the cited sources. If the document is outdated, replace it or remove the old version. If a document is missing, upload or synchronize it.
A user cannot access something
Check that the user belongs to the right organization, that the account is active, and that the role has access to the needed document type.
